Tamima Nasrin is a devoted Young Professionalhaving 7 years’ experience in development sectors for gender Justice and Human Rights. She is currently working for United Nation Population Fund Bangladesh (UNFPA). She has combined her ambition of being a development expert and aspiration to advocate for achieving Gender equality and Women empowerment.
She is currently providingtechnical support to Bangladesh Police and Department of Women & Children affairs to prevent & response gender based violence against Women and Girls, making policy from local to National level, Capacity building training for government stakeholders including Youth and Civil society, alsobuilding community awareness to prevent gender based violence against women & Girls.
She has extensive working knowledge in Gender training and advocacy, Empowering youth people in volunteerism for gender equality and reaching community about Women and Girls empowerment.
She holds her Master’s degree in Law and Human Rights at Jagannath University Bangladesh. Along with her academic degree she attained so many leadership training in National & International arena and has been awarded many National and International Award for her outstanding leadership in Community services.
